Full-Body Red Light Therapy – Available Only at Our Cherry Creek Location
Recharge, Recover and Restore at the Cellular Level
Experience the restorative power of full-body red and near-infrared light therapy with the Solbasium Flex Red Light Therapy Bed.
In a relaxing session lasting approximately 15–30 minutes, the Flex surrounds your body with targeted wavelengths of light designed to support cellular energy, circulation, muscle recovery and healthier-looking skin – all without UV exposure, needles or downtime.
What Is Red Light Therapy?
Red light therapy, also known as photobiomodulation, uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate natural processes within the body.
Unlike ultraviolet light, red light therapy does not tan or damage the skin. Instead, the light penetrates the skin and underlying tissues, where it may help support mitochondrial function—the process your cells use to produce energy.
By supporting cellular energy production, red light therapy may help the body recover, repair and function more efficiently.

Why We Chose the Solbasium Flex
The Flex Red Light Therapy Bed provides even, full-body exposure without requiring you to stand in front of a panel or reposition your body throughout the session.
Its wraparound design uses four targeted wavelengths of red and near-infrared light:
- 633 nm and 660 nm red light, which primarily target the skin and superficial tissues
- 850 nm and 940 nm near-infrared light, which penetrate more deeply into muscles and other tissues
The bed offers 360-degree coverage, adjustable treatment settings and specialized programs designed for goals such as recovery, skin support and relaxation.

What to Expect and FAQ’s
What to Expect During Your Red Light Session?
You will lie comfortably inside the Flex bed while red and near-infrared LEDs surround your body with therapeutic light.
The experience is:
- Noninvasive
- Painless
- Comfortable and relaxing
- Free from ultraviolet light
- Designed to require no recovery time
Most sessions last approximately 15–30 minutes. You may feel gentle warmth, but the treatment should not feel hot or uncomfortable.
After your session, you can immediately return to your normal activities.
How Often Should I Use Red Light Therapy?
The ideal frequency depends on your personal goals, health history and wellness plan. Many people begin with two to three sessions per week, while more consistent programs may include three to five sessions weekly for a limited period.
As with exercise, nutrition and other wellness practices, the benefits of red light therapy are generally associated with consistent use rather than a single session.
Our team can help you determine a schedule based on whether your goals involve athletic recovery, skin health, discomfort, relaxation or general wellness.
Who May Benefit from Red Light Session?
Red light therapy may be a valuable addition to a wellness plan for people who:
- Exercise regularly or want to improve recovery
- Experience occasional muscle soreness or stiffness
- Want to support healthy aging and skin appearance
- Are looking for a noninvasive wellness treatment
- Want to complement a broader longevity or performance program
- Need a restorative way to relax and recharge
Red light therapy is not intended to replace medical evaluation or treatment for an injury, illness or chronic condition.
Is Red Light Therapy The Same as a Tanning Bed?
No. Tanning beds use ultraviolet light, which can damage the skin. The Flex uses red and near-infrared wavelengths and does not emit UV light.
Does Red Light Therapy Hurt?
No. Red light therapy is noninvasive and generally painless. Most people find the gentle warmth and quiet treatment time relaxing.
Will I Notice a Difference After One Session?
Some people report feeling relaxed or less stiff after an individual session. Changes involving recovery, skin appearance or broader wellness goals generally require a series of consistent treatments.
Do I Need to Prepare for my Appointment?
Arrive with clean, dry skin whenever possible. Lotions, makeup and products containing sunscreen may interfere with light reaching the skin. You may be asked to remove clothing from the areas being treated while maintaining your comfort and privacy.
Is There any Downtime?
No. You can return to work, exercise and other normal activities immediately after your appointment.
Is Red Light Therapy Safe for Everyone?
Red light therapy is generally well tolerated, but it may not be appropriate for everyone. Tell our team if you are pregnant, have a light-sensitive condition, experience light-triggered migraines or seizures, have active cancer, or take medications that increase sensitivity to light. Protective eyewear may be provided or required according to the treatment protocol.
